Yes, there is. You just don't like the results

thanks for describing white high school athletes. Now ask yourself what happens when they go to the recruiting combines, and whatnot

My statement had to do with less talented players being good coaches and nothing to do with highschool athletes nor race.

Chris Weinke was a great college qb, crappy NFL qb but a fantastic QB coach.

Tony Dungy barely played as a backup safety but was a defensive innovator.

Lovie Smith didnt even make it to the league but made his name first as a linebacker coach then on and on etc.

Aren't there white sprinters from other countries who run sub 10 second 100m?

The last Olympics the 4x100, the top 5 finishes only two teams were majority black (Jamaica and Canada)

Japan won the silver and China came in 4th. Great Britain,5th place, team consisted two white athletes.

Less talented athletes might be good coaches but the game is played on the field... technique doesn't help when you just get burnt

Youre out of your element donnie. Youre arguing irrelevant points The fact that a very good high school player despite having perfect technique gets burned is why they dont go D 1. A decent corner in the big 12 who has maximized their potential may not get to the NFL because yes they can get burned by the superior athlete.

Many times those players become coaches and those times they got burnt dont matter anymore. The fact they knew the perfect technique and can communicate that to their players is what matters. Which is what I was talking about.

Let me ask a basic question here.

We all acknowledge that blacks and whites have different skin color due to genetics. Do we really think that the genetic differences stop there?

He said intelligence, not standardized testing. It's a poor proxy, but I acknowledge your position that there may be significant physical biological differences between certain "racial" populations, all while intelligence remains virtually the same.

mean its not THAT uncommon. Less talented players many time are able to compensate and make their way up through lower levels by refining and knowing the ins and outs of every technique to tap 100% of their potential out of their inferior athletic talent. Superior athletes can coast by on natural instincts and talent in the lower levels and many times dont learn the proper technique and when they finally get to a level where the talent level is the same they look overmatched.

You mean undrafted Free agents who run a 4.7 /40 like Everson Walls who had nearly 60 defensive backs drafted before him?

Walls ( a Gramblingnite) who led College Football in interceptions his Sr season despite not being the prototypical CB?

Walls who is the only Cornerback in NFL history to lead the League 3 seasons in interceptions ( only a safety Ed Reed has led the League in Interceptions for 3 seasons).

Walls used superior technique , his ability to read/anticipate that allowed him to break on balls & get ints.

Don't fall for the stereotypes about Black athletes/ Cornerbacks. They don't all run 4.2/4.3 40's.

13% of the US population is black, and the NFL has 4 black coaches, or 13%

Whites make up 63% of the US population, but only 31% of the players in the NFL are white

Maybe whites lean towards coaching because they can't get a job in the racist NFL as a player

Or maybe because they have an inside track to coaching technique to Deon Sanders ,Champ Bailey ,Everson Walls,Darrell Green ,Rod & Charles Woodson, Revis,etc..... Give me a break.

I bet Being being sons of Buddy Ryan , Jim Mora, Monte Kiffin , Bellichick, Don Shula, Mike Shanahan, Jeff Fisher, Andy Reid ,Mike Zimmer,Pete Carroll, Norv Turner, Bum Phillips,Marvin Lewis( Black guy) ,etc.....has little to do with them getting gigs as position coaches that lead to other Coaching opportunities.

So all Blacks are 5 star Ahtletes / pro prospects & not interested in coaching? Got it.

how come the best soccer players are always of white european descent, despite the whole world playing the game? Do you have to be smart to be good at soccer?
