Nope.

Save the money.See if Ruiz is the man. If not, throw everything at Machado next year.

Plus, I dont want to give a 32 year old(no matter how he's been used previously) a 4-5 year deal worth 25 mil.

That's an excellent point, but I believe that Baltimore is going to do everything they can to re-sign Manny. He is their cornerstone right now

Oh I know this, and it will be hard, but we have $34 mil coming off the books in the three pitchers we just acquired. Thats not counting us still being $10 mil under what our payroll was 2 years ago, and the hopeful jump from a new stadium. We should be good money wise.

Even if we struck out on him, Mike Moustakas, Todd Frazier, Trevor Plouffe, Danny Espinosa, and Ian Kinsler are free agents then.

I think they''ll know in Spring Training if a Garcia/Ruiz with a little Rodriguez platoon would work out. They could also sign a guy like Kelly Johnson, are there are some other options on the market to work as platoon guys at a fraction of the cost of Turner.

Which is why you need to keep that second pick. For that extra million.

Dob on turner

No. Too high a price, not a priority need, and would cost a draft pick as compensation. LINK ]
