i dont see how you guys are saying Ohio St in a blowout

game will be a pick em by gametime by Vegas standards

OU has lost 1 game and knows it must win out, and its at home. must win game for them to prove they are legit.

i have OU 34-24

dont think ohio state can stop Mayfield and those backs

I'll be at the game. Nervous as frick.

Ohio State is inexperienced, but Meyer makes up for that and more. I expect a lower scoring game than what people are anticipating.
What Ohio state's defense did to Tulsa was impressive

Just like they did with FSU, Houston was bullying OU in the trenches. I think the Sooners fight like hell for 2 or 3 qtrs, but OSU pulls away for a 2,000 point win.

Hoping Oklahoma wins, but I think Ohio State wins, and it won't be a close game either.

OU has a crazy record at home in the Stoops era. They've looked like a completely different team there, even in down years.

ThIs is a hard one to pick but I say Sooners in a close one. Not that I'll be rooting for that.

I'm taking at least 50,000 brain hemorrhages as a result of "Boomer Sooner" being played way too fricking many times.

would lose it if we rented out our arena to an away team.

I'm pretty sure LSU rented out the Field House to Notre Dame's alumni association last time ND came here.

Oklahoma is 2.5 pt underdogs. If Ohio State is going to lose this season, make it this game. Still not sold on the offense. I think the defense will be decent.

Isn't a lot of that bc they don't play Texas at home? Having a neutral site rivalry game must make your home record better no?

Young OSU team on the road against a good team in a must win situation.

Gonna be tough for OSU to win this one.

OSU 37-17. Houston worked OU's OL like a cheap hooker. OSU's DL is infinitely better than Houston's. Barrett is better than Greg Ward. The calls for Stoops's head will be loud after this one.

It appears that Stoops has a home record of 97-8 (0.924) and a 10-7 (0.588) record against Texas. Even if we assume he played 9 games at home against Texas and attributed all 7 of those losses as home losses, he would have a 99-15 (0.868) record.

More realistically, he has 4-5 record in odd years, so AT WORST, he would have an overall record of 101-13 (0.886). Again that's rather pessimistic though.

Regardless, Stoops and Oklahoma has been dominant at home (and overall). Oklahoma is lucky to have such a great program under him. It's going to be a tough game this weekend, especially given the youth of OSU.

Norman is a tough place to play.

Stoops has only lost 5 games in Norman in 17 seasons...or something like that.

But OU's website says...

Over the past 16 seasons, OU leads all those schools in victories (172), home winning percentage (.919)

So basically, they almost never lose at home...ever and lead the nation in home-field advantage by far.
