If Carolina won the ACC and was 12-1 they better be included.

Iowa would go

Ohio State? Maybe
That's cute. Of course OSU would go in that scenario.

Winner of B1G title game is in, regardless if it's Iowa, MSU or OSU.

the most embarrassing michigan performance against ohio state i have seen, if you weight the games for expectations.

I would think 2004 was worse, though I don't know how old you are. You guys came in ranked 7th(while we were unranked at 6-4) and lost 37-21.

Carolina lost to a 3-9 team and beat 2 FCS schools which doesn't even count

They won 12 in a row
Won a championship
Beat the number 1 team

No school can say that they will go if they win the ACC and deservedly so

Saying it doesn't make it true.

Do you really believe UNC is one of the four best teams in football?

Osu beat. Um 50-14 in 1968. They went two on there last touchdown. Every um player wore t-shirts that 50-14 the whole spring and fall camp. And sure enough bo and his boys beat #1 24-12 the next year and the 10 years war began.

They'll have earned a shot if they beat Clemson. Just depends on what you call "best"

I think you should have to win a conference to be considered. Unless your independent then you need to be unbeaten or 1 loss (which has to be to a CG winner or Con winner)

Carolina will be top 10 this week probably.

The criteria for selection doesn't say you have to be a conference champion

No it doesn't but what is the best team?

A champion?
Team with most pro prospects?
Team with most wins?
Team that can be unbeaten on road?

I think "best" is up to interpretation.

Best is what I call best. I'd love to hear your argument for UNC. They didn't lose to a top four team, or even a bowl team. They also played two FCS team. Two.

2 FCS means you weren't interested in playoff consideration it's their choice not committees

I already listed why they could go if they beat Climpzin.

None of that will put them in the top four.

If Notre Dame and Oklahoma win it's a moot point. Too many teams in front of them.

I agree, and for what it's worth, I'd put UNC ahead of both. Until the Big 12 gets a CCG and Notre Dame joins a conference, they should be ineligible for the CFP.
