Damn .. Word spreads pretty fast

The par three, Number 8 my 17th hole of the day .. Hit a fine tee shot that landed about 20 yards short of the green

Anywho tried to hit a little flop shot over the bunker and to the pin .. Hit it a tad thin and it went over the green into the thick stuff .. Never did find the ball ...

But I got up and down for double

What exactly are the ticket packages? I think my friend got tickets for the 18th green stands, but he said it is not the champions club? We still get free food and alcohol....anybody know the classification of these tickets?

Anyone know where to find the tee times for Wednesday's pro-am or when they post them? Might go check it out in the morning.

LaTour is very challenging. Nice size fairways but sets up for lost balls with lots of native grass. It's always windy even when its not windy. So when its windy like this weekend best to stay home.

Curious to get three puts take on LaTour.

To stray slightly off target, but stick to golf, McCord is the guest on Feherty's show tonight. Funny stuff.

McCord seems like he would be a blast to play a round with, and/or drink with at the bar

I would be more upset with the 7:30 tee time rather than which tee I was starting on. He'll tee off on #1 Friday with a later time.

Why would you be pissed about a 7:30 tee time? That's ideal. He'll get to play early before it starts blowing.

I already took off work Friday to go. Seriously considering taking Thursday afternoon now that I see some good groups are going off after lunch. So excited...don't know why but I always love going to this tourney.

Don't have any tickets yet though so if anyone has some corporate stuff they can't use for the weekday rounds let me know. (hey it's worth a shot lol)

I use to go to the Brunos Memorial when I lived in Bham which was usually voted the best Champions Tour stop when it was still being played at Greystone CC. Great tournament. The Zurich Classic has the same laid back fun vibe.

My brother and I went to the Zurich for the first time 4 years ago and it's gotten to the point where I too look forward to this. I'm only a 2 and a half hour drive away in Mobile and my brother lives on the North Shore so it's becoming a bit of a tradition now. Plus my brother is able to get on the course pretty cheap so I've gotten to play the course for a great price. It's always a little more fun attending a PGA Tour event at a course you've played as you can better appreciate just how insanely good the players are. I'll probably be out there Saturday with my brother and 6 year old nephew.

Yep, Boo Weekly withdrew due to injury, so they gave his sponsors exemption to Daly. I guess they were reserving that exemption for a redneck.

I grew up playing junior golf with Boo so I always like pulling for him. I was looking forward to watching him some this weekend.

That is fantastic. Glad ya'll get to bring a young one out there to experience it. Mine is a little young to be out there but within the next couple years he will be tagging along for sure.

I have played there many times as well as my friend has a frequent hook up as well as playing some twilight rounds and full price rounds too. I completely agree about appreciating the professionals play that much more when you have played the course and know the challenges.

Anyway, enjoy the tourney man.
