Went 6-3 last week, but even on the money since one of those losses was the Ole Miss ML. I've come to my bye week this week. It's been a season of ups and downs so far, and it's time for a little rest. Need to heal up those nicks and bruises and come back strong in November. Plus I have some big projects in the yard to take care of.

I didn't say ODU was a FCS team, just emphasizing that Vandy shouldn't be laying 10 to anyone

I expect money to come in on ODU FWIW. I don't think the 10 holds up.

With Louisville only being a 6 point favorite and FSU coming off a bye I'm leaning FSU on this game. I really think FSU comes out and makes a statement on why they are a top 5 team. I also think Auburn goes into Oxford and wins because Ole Miss is banged up bad after the loss to LSU.

I can't believe people still try to rationalize a Thursday night road favorite. Just take the home dog or don't bet it. Especially when it is a public darling like FSU. Ville has a very good defense and running game.

Agree with you 100% on Auburn.

Buckeyes going in deep on them. Theyll cover by half time. That line is an overreaction to both teams.

ETA: i may even break my cardinal rule and put money on them, thats how confident i am.

What in the world are you talking about? Road favorites have covered the last two Thursday nights.

Right now it's FSU-5. For those of you who are on Louisville (and that seems like most everybody so far), do you think Louisville is going to win the game outright? If so, have you actually seen Louisville play this year? If not, why are you on Louisville?

Looking at odds to win the SEC and BCS for shits and giggles...

Odds to win the SEC:
LSU +3,000
South Carolina +25,000

Odds to win the BCS:
LSU +25,000
South Carolina +10,000

How's that work?

As shitty as UF is/has been (except 2012), the WLOCP is usually a close game.

Should be a bet for how many personal foul flags will be thrown in the game

Now it's FSU-3.5.

Somebody sure thinks they know something I don't.

I am talking about the main Thurs night ESPN game. The only road fav I can think of this year that covered in the game was Miami last week, but weren't they originally dogs that got steamed to a favorite?

Anyway the FSU/Ville game is just like UTSA/Zona and KSU/Auburn games from earlier in the year. The line today reflects what I posted yesterday.

They were, but I dont' see how that's significant.

You're forgetting about Utah covering over Oregon State and UCLA covering over Arizona State by about 90.

But it's also just like the games I mentioned above. I mean, I understand Thursday night road games are a tough environment, but that's clearly built into the line, and that was the case at FSU-7. At FSU-3.5, the environment is being way overvalued. FSU is a way better football team than Louisville.

I went ahead and did it.

I'm on FSU-3.5 and the FSU moneyline (-167).
