Utah State +7.5 <-----best bet ATS week 1

Agree with this. Love it at over 7. Will be 6 or 6.5 by the time my book puts lines out

Utah State has like 2 starters back on offense. Granted, one of them is Keeton.

Tennessee by 14+. Book it.

Florida State -17.5 is a gift

Defending national champ, that blew every team out except Auburn, with many key pieces back against a team that lost pretty much every relevant player from last year's 10-3 team.

FSU blew out Clemson and Miami, both teams far better than what OKST will have next week

I'm a bit worried about the FSU letdown this year. I doubt this team will be overly-focused or motivated, especially given Jameis' crazy offseason.

I think the line is a bit short, but OSU has athletes to hang with FSU. OSU should have a slight homefield advantage as well.

Also liking UGA laying the TD. Clemson starting a freshman QB in his first game vs a premier SEC team should be trouble. Mason had the oppurtunity to start a couple games last year and get some experience. Not to mention the run game will help him tremendously having Gurley in the backfield. Hopefully Mitchell will be back on the field as well at the WR position

I thought about Okie State at +17.5, but I'm too scared to go against Jameis.

UGA seems like a great teaser partner as well.

Clemson should be really good on defense this year. The offense likely takes a big step backwards, losing Watkins, Bryant, and Boyd.

I like the under at whatever the number is, should be relatively low-scoring.

I also like the revenge factor as well for UGA.

I'll try to post my picks early every week so everyone can go the other way.

A lot of people are expecting UT to be better in Butch Jones 2nd year. Not buying it. They suck at QB and return no starters on either side of the line.

See page 1... May be my only play week 1.

Under is the best play in the Utah State/Tennessee game... both teams will have a hard time scoring unless they turn the ball over

Like that UGA/Clemson Under. 5dimes has it at 57.5 at the moment.

I'll post some games I'm looking at later but am I the only one who thinks La Tech can cover +37.5 vs Oklahoma? Trevor Knight isn't exactly the second coming of Dan Marino and I think it might take a while for their offense to get going. Meanwhile, Tech has some solid running backs that can hopefully shorten the game for them and keep it under the number.

Thoughts?

Should be a fun year boys

I'd take 2013 Miami over 2014 Oklahoma State on a neutral field

LA Tech is the play but I am staying away. Oklahoma took a while to get going last year, you could even say they didn't get going until the Sugar Bowl. But their offense was ugly early with Knight in there.

I agree with you, so I have to ask, why are you staying away?

Not to sure of this. In their 1st 4 games they scored 34,16,51,35. And the 16 was against WV which I dont have much insight to. The others were ULM, Tulsa, and Notre Dame. And with some experience under Knights belt, may have the Sooners coming out hot.

Im staying away as well, I just wouldnt be so fast to put stock in LT

Good points. I mostly meant with Knight. He had some good games but some really poor games too. Maybe the experience will get them going early this year. Hey that's why we start this thing 2 weeks out…gives us time to second guess ourselves
