Probably could run 6.5 or better if he dropped 20-30 lbs.

Tebow is freakin jacked these days. Could have moved to fullback at 255 lbs.

I think people have gone overboard on "he has no SHOT, WHAT A WASTE, HE SUCKS!!!."

The guy is 255lbs, just ran a 6.7, and hit over .500 in 6A florida baseball.

Will he make the majors? Likely no. But this isnt some typical dude having a tryout

Remember, Tebow took flies in center looking into a hellacious sun. Did not bobble or miss a one.

I don't think he has a shot at the majors, but my opinion is about an uninformed as they come.

I dont either. But that doesnt mean it is "ludicrous" to try. He instantly will be one of, if not the most, athletic player every time he steps on the field. In football, he was simply average when it came to size, strength, and speed.

In baseball, he will be damn near the best at all of those categories

I still don't get the Tebow hate. Whatever reason he's doing this, it's his gig to do and any of us would kill to trade places with him.

There are countless threads on TD this week about a shite bag that's not a very good NFL Qb either that can't carry this guy's wet jock strap as far as being a good human being.

Let the guy have his fun.

Tim Tebow is approaching the plate to take BP. “Come on, dude,” Dylan Hernandez said. “Crush it. For us.”

You a ruhtard? For NFL standards, he was average when it came to skill position players. There was nothing awe inspiring about his size, strength, and speed in terms of other NFL players. In baseball, he is a 1%er

He just hit a couple a lot further than this, but Tebow has put a few over the right field wall

See those trees to the left of the scoreboard? That's where Tebow hit a ball. (Don't tell anyone it's just BP).

Whelp... all that's left is to see the guy in action versus MLB/minor league talent.

People give Jordan shite about not making it in baseball, but in the 30 for 30 "Riding the Bus" (iirc), the Barons manager said that he was sure Jordan could make it if given enough time. That he was making a lot of progress and that elite athletes with a super work ethic can improve.

In addition, Jordan hadn't played since little league. Tebow played in high school. And you see tons of HS kids getting drafted and quickly progressing. Why can't Tebow do it?
