People think Zona would touch Sean Miller? Lmao.

Classy in defeat by Miller, Allen, and co. Before announcer even said something you saw Miller going up and congratulating the individual players. Cool end to a badass game.

ETA: that last shot wasn't that dumb considering he kept them in the game. Was in and out as well.

Again, down 2, jack up a contested 3. By this point I just want to see a team drive the ball in the last possession. This is unbelievable.

I mean shite, we spend an entire practice on end of game situations with my 7th grade team. And then spend 5 min at the end of practice once a week running through what we do when it's a one possession game with less than 30 seconds.

Xavier or Gonzaga gets over that hump now. Two great programs that seem to fall short when expectations are high and make a run when they are low. I know there are exceptions to that general statement, but anyway...

It'll be nice to see one of them going to the F4.

Probably not, but 3rd highest paid coach in college hoops and now at Arizona 8 seasons without even a single final four.

Sean Miller must have kids locked up in his basement or something. I don't get it.

That was like the worst consecutive 8 possessions in the history of basketball by Arizona to end the game.

Sean Miller will never make the Final Four.

I don't have all the results in front of me, but I bet Xavier has had more tournament success than gonzaga in the last 10-12ish years.

Xavier deserves it more lol

Then Xavier goes down and runs a little high-low and makes zona look like a fool in a matter of seconds.

ETA: nvm they are tied

Xavier has made the Sweet 16 like 6 times in the last 9 or 10 years, which is pretty remarkable for them.

Also, I might get yelled at for this, but this has been maybe the worst tournament I can remember in my lifetime.

Last weekend was arse.

The south is the only thing that can save this tournament. Gonzaga/Xavier is underwhelming, whatever the regional final in the east ends up being will be underwhelming. Don't get me wrong, Kansas/Oregon is a nice matchup, but with the way Kansas is playing I don't really think Oregon can beat them.

Kentucky/UCLA and North Carolina/Butler should both be very good games, though. And then a likely UNC vs. UK/UCLA should be great too. But overall, it's really been not great.

ETA: We did get three good games tonight, I'll give you that. But honestly, I don't think the quality of these teams is anything special. Besides Kansas and the way they're playing.
