That's enough of that. Turrible

Apparently Silva has a berserk fan who freaked out Weidman and security had to take him away. It's not the first time this guy has threaten a Silva opponent. He had a knife or something and they had to remove him from getting to close to Chael Sonnen.

LINK

quote:

"Some Brazilian guy, and I guess he was a problem for Chael too, he's really a media guy, but I guess he's sneaky. He went to where the fans were, he didn't have a camera or anything like that. I just signed something for him ... then all of the sudden he's like, 'Do me a favor and lose in the first round.' Then I find out this guy is a problem. He was waiting out front. I guess he tried to like stab the jeans of Chael Sonnen. He didn't try to stab me, but he was guilty of being a guy who could have possibly stabbed me. Security took care of him. They got rid of him."

Weidman so fricked. Had to be a tough guy and try to get in Silva's face after he showed him respect. Looked like Andy was just gonna to the face off from there until Weidman got in his face. Then he just reciprocated by stepping up to him and backed him down to prove a point. I don't really see it as mind games but as a respect issue. The man kiss was just so Weidman can say, "At least I got kissed before I got fricked."

I fully expect Silva to win, but I wouldn't be surprised if he finally goes down. Weidman has a good ground game and that's given Silva some trouble lately.

Silva had some pretty funny entrances in Pride back in the day. Most were mimicking Michael Jackson dance moves as he made his way down the ramp to the ring.

First time I have ever bet against Silva money wise. I thought Belfort might beat him, but wasn't confident enough to wager.

Same here.

Mark Munoz looks like a beast. He looks the best I've ever seen him.

Him and Tim Boetsch should be a freaking war!!

Since his last fight.

I don't know but you can tell he looks much better than he did when he faced Weidman.

I'm sorta interested to see how much Silva and Weidman blow up by fight time tonight.

It will be same as always, but I always find it interesting how much difference 24 or so hours can make with the rehydration and carb load. Weidman and Silva both looked anemic, flat, and quite frankly skinny as shite with very little muscle mass at the weigh in.

Tonight though they will look totally different and be 10-12 pounds heavier and filled out again.

10-12

I would say a minimum of 15

Silva weighed in at 184. It seemed like an easy cut to him.

I started to say 15..

I know I can lose 6-8lbs of water weight by playing basketball all afternoon (like 3-4 hours) or a night out drinking before rehydrating the next day. More commonly 3-4lbs, but I know 6-8 is possible for me personally and I am around 185 and in good shape (same as these guys).

But they do double, triple or even more than that in a 48-72 hour period before, then a 24 hour period after, they blow back up without the performance loss.
