I havent been since my freshman year and was not suprised when i heard it was shut down (well partly shut down)

Much preferred the Cate St. scene when I was at SLU (late 80's/early 90's). I can remember being in Stray Cats (The Buzz) and literally not being able to move.

The buzz has the opposite problem now. After the rennovation its TOO big. Theres an entire half of the building that goes unused and then a tiny dance floor on the other side
Add in the Jersey Shore cliental, overpriced cover and drinks and bad reputation it doesnt mix very well
Cate street is always a good time
I like the Brown door, but it is unbearable on big nights (like tonight i assume) you really cant move anywhere
