They would be wise to move one or the other even if they couldn't get max value in return. That team is aging fast and lack high ceiling prospects.

Trying to trade Lee, Cole, and Brown..... I think they should move Brown to Arizona for a pitcher, maybe send Lee to Seattle for prospects and Cole to NY for Sanchez

Reports are Philly is asking the receiving team to pick up all the remaining salary for both.

That's serious cash. Doubt they get any high profile prospects if thats the case.

Teams need to stop putting SPs on the market, killing Smardjiza's high asking price.

Yankees should go after one or the other and pick up the salary, maybe include Chase Utley for a better prospect

Of course they won't hit like 40 points higher than the league average with runners on base again

Yeah, they will...

If there is one certainty about baseball, it is that all randomness favors the Cardinals.

He must have forgotten about them during late 80's and entire 90's

ESPN's Keith Law reports (via Twitter) that the Mark Trumbo talks between the Diamondbacks and Angels have expanded to include the White Sox, with a potential framework sending Adam Eaton to Chicago and Hector Santiago and Tyler Skaggs to the Angels.

It's a bit steep. His defense in LF will cost them some games. Teams will wear out that gap.

Mariners were only trading for him for the nest two years, which is why fans are so against it. You can't pay Felix, Price, and Cano 80 mil a year and fill out a good team.

Garza could be inked soon.

Jayson Stark says Tigers don't feel optimistic about signing Scherzer long term, but also aren't moving him.

Passan says he's very much in play.

Brandon Phillips in play.
