My Thoughts............

Best Coach/Manager should have gone to Coach K or Payton

Best NBA Player should have gone to Lebron James

Best Moment should have gone to at least one of the other nominees

Phil Jackson

I think Phil is great, but the guy had the second beat player on his team and the best front court in the NBA. It seems more like a to his career which he does deserve; however, the award should have gone to someone else.

The Figure Skater from Quebec who skated two days after her mom died should have won something.

Music was terrible and what a weird looking singer. Except for Set Myers, comedy sucked. Andy Samberg and Will Ferrell stunk as did the 2 SNL morons doing the sports reporters. Myers monologue was excellent though.

Happy Saints won

I didn't watch but I doubt it. It never is.

Though it is good to know the Saints and more specifically Brees, stole the show.

watch the first 10-15 minutes. Meyers was great IMO.

And the last 10 minutes, because of the Saints.

My unofficial blog of the Official ESPY's thread:

Not crazy hair again. Imus would not be happy.
....Very clever Mr Killer...I am thinking of a word that rhymes with happy...

I would have given biggest upset to UNO beating LSU in baseball. IF they saw the rant meltdown they would know how big of a deal it was. ESPN hates UNO.
Maybe they should win the Div III upset of the year.

I'm glad Shawn White won. After he missed out on the Oscar for that movie Mask he did with Cher he deserves it.
...I knew I had seen that dude somewhere before....

You guys are overthinking these votes...

This is ESPN, so the most popular name/best looking female always wins

just like high school
Best insight of the night.

And the ESPY award for the most misspelled word:

shoe-in instead of shoo-in
