CFBstats.com

Also use the stats from Teamrankings.com from time to time because you can retroactively test formulas, they let you select the exact date you want the stats available from. Which is a pretty awesome little tool.

For those that use excel spreadsheets, where do you pull your statistical data from?

LINK

I feel that site is the most complete college football stat website from an advanced stat point of view. Has pretty much everything, and now that its 5 weeks in the stats are becoming more useful.

TCU's D healthy, I know Fields is a little banged up.

TCU had 3 preseason All Americans on defense, all 3 have been banged up. Fields and Olabode are questionable, Verrett should play.

Devil, where is said tutorial?

And, I'm on Texas tonight... I think. Also, give me Pittsburgh for tomorrow... I'd hit that now before the line moves worse than -122.

I got my arse kicked this past weekend :(

Felt the same last weekend. This past weekend the variance went my way.

I know this isn't the right thread, but any thoughts on the game tonight?

If you can get the Saints at -6.5, take it.

Tennessee is terrbile, but I'm not touching Georgia this week. Huge emotional win, and now they have to go on the road. The table is set for them to come out flat, make mistakes, and squeak out a 34-24 win.

My first thoughts:

North Texas -3 at Tulane
NC State -9 at Wake Forest
Tennessee +10.5 vs UGA (unlikely to pull the trigger)
Oregon -38 at Colorado
Kentucky +21 at South Carolina
Baylor -27 vs. West Virginia
Ohio State -5.5 at Northwestern

Is LSU -9.5 an over-reaction to the bad defense? I mean, State's offense is putrid. I see this as a 14 to 17 point win for LSU. Maybe even 21. That said, there's the post-emotional loss factor too.

It's early in the week.

I think everyone should post pick-matchups until we get closer to Saturday - (ie I have no clue who teams are playing against)

For example:

LSU -9.5 @ Mississippi State

Makes for better discussion

If LSU stays at -9.5 I am throwing the house at it.

Bovada won't open until tomorrow and I bet its at 12 by then :sigh:

I like the picks, would probably lean that way on most except I'd take USCe -21 vs. KY
