I really hope Tiger can pull this win off. I think if he wins the Masters is his.

Im probably the only golf fan up at this hour, but then again, Im still in college, so for those that will see this before I wake up..

Looking forward to a good round of golf tomorrow. Listening to Charlie Wi's after round interview yesterday, apparently he knows Tiger from amateur play back in the day, Im sure Tiger has some retarded arse nickname for him just he does for every other player on the tour however Im interested to see how Wi plays with a share of the 36 hole lead considering he had the lead at Pebble and 4 putted the first hole

It looks like a good round of golf tomorrow, Tiger in contention or not, but it always seems like it means more to the casual golf fan/commentators than it does for anyone else

From a purely golf perspective...there is nothing better than Tiger being in the lead in any golf tournament. When he is playing well the golf industry is booming.

Case in point: Ten (no lie 10)tee times today were filled because of Tigers play yesterday! He is actually the only reason that the course I am working at was built in 2003. Unless someone can compete with him as Vijay and Phil have done, golf will never be the same!

Geaux Tiger!

not directly...but when they come in dressed to a "T" in red and black, it's pretty obvious!

Looks like the wind is blowing a little bit today, could be a tough day for scoring, lowest round is a 67 so far.

It's on golf channel right now for those interested

I'm interested to see how many people that haven't posted in a golf thread this year will come in here after Tiger's first birdie

Not really. I mean more black people buy nike, but thats about it. Golf outside of La is doing just fine. Specially retail stores.

I hope he loses, the Golf world needs to start focusing on the Post-Tiger world. There are lots of good young golfers that need more TV time.

The Tiger boom is over. People arent beginning to play golf because of him anymore. Its starting to become more affordable and with the new equipment out, it is a ton easier. Those 2 are the hugest factors of the golf boom.

That won't amount to anything to more than a hand full of wins.

Wonder what the over/under is on Wi breaking par playing with TW today? I think he's over par.

He seems like he can be shaky, especially with that tee shot just now

Weekend when he has been in contention or leading he played terribly with huge nerves. Probably same thing will happen here. Only difference is Bay Hill is his bitch.

Yeah Rory, Keegan Bradley, and Dustin Johnson will only win a hand full of times.
