Tiger's tee shot & 2nd shot are why stats can often be misleading. Tee shot missed fairway, by what 3 inches and it looked like 2nd shot is 1 inch off the green.

Okay so they win 7-10 tournaments a piece, and?
Keep in mind Ernie Els has only won 18 times on the PGA tour and he is considered great
ETA:
Are any of them even playing this week?
Also they have all been pro for around 5 years and have a combined 10 PGA tour wins.
Honestly out of that group you named, Rory is going to be the only one worth a shite.

Yeah Rory, Keegan Bradley, and Dustin Johnson will only win a hand full of times.

This is the biggest problem in golf right now. People expect everyone to be Jack in his prime or Tiger in his prime or the public thinks they are crap and won't watch.
Some of us who grew up watching Fred Couples, Tom Kite, Greg Norman, José María Olazábal etc. can enjoy watching alot of good golfers complete. Tiger has introduced the Happy Gilmore fans to golf. On one hand it is good because more people watch but those same people want to ignore they can be other good or great golfers out there who are not named Tiger.

So because you don't like Tiger, you want him to lose? Got it.
Don't get me wrong those guys will be good players and will win a few tournaments, I have nothing against them and I don't mind watching them.
But Tiger being in contention makes the PGA tour go. You know this, I know this, people that hate Tiger know this.

The Tiger boom is over. People arent beginning to play golf because of him anymore. Its starting to become more affordable and with the new equipment out, it is a ton easier. Those 2 are the hugest factors of the golf boom.
you are in Vegas and it's affordable? What the hell am I missing? I agree with the equipment, but as for affordability....no way is it more affordable now than 10 years ago!

Tiger pretty much made everyone raise their rates. I remember a 3-5 year span where rates went up every year because of the overflow of golfers. Now its back down so courses have to get competitive.

Just an awful lag putt by Tiger there, left himself about 15 feet
Posted on 3/24/12 at 1:17 pm to HoLeInOnEr05
And he drops a shot, tied with Gmac at -9, who faces a pretty lengthy putt for par.
Wi with a bogey, bogey start not looking good for him.

Leaders are letting a lot of people back in it.

Tiger still leads at -9 by himself, GMac just bogied.
Like I said earlier, looks like a tough day for scoring.
ETA: Charlie Wi with 3 consecutive bogies, I kinda feel bad for the guy

I hope he loses, the Golf world needs to start focusing on the Post-Tiger world. There are lots of good young golfers that need more TV time.
Why does the golf world need to do anything? I enjoying watching and cheering for McIlroy, Johnson, Watson, etc. but there is something exciting and enjoyable about watching Tiger lead a tournament. It's exciting and overall good for the game of golf. Sponsorships and Tournament Purses would not be what they are currently without Tiger so why hate on him.

And he told reporters before the round that he had an advantage playing with Tiger since he knew him as a junior golfer back in Cali. That seems to be working out.

Tiger back in the lead at -10, Charlie Wi +3 for the day

I say Tiger finishes 3+ clear of the field today.

He might the way everyone else is playing
He has a putt for almost 100 feet coming up for eagle
And almost holed it taps in for birdie, -11 2 shot lead.

Unless his competitors trip up, I don't see this happening. Scores arent going as low as the previous rounds. McDowell seems to be giving him a run but is sucking up his putting.

I was factoring in how everyone else is playing in my prediction.
Looks like he's dialing in on the greens. He's got the speed down.
