The ITV version of this year's song is going to drive me nuts. She sounds like a dying animal.

Saw the 2nd half of the Geogia game, I thought Tonga would keep it closer.

Couple questions about the English match (so spoilers if you haven't seen it):

-Why wasn't the Fijian's scrum half awarded the try? Is it because it came loose right as he touched it down? Is that considered a knockon or something? His hand comes down right on top so I wouldn't think so, but I'm not a rules expert so I wouldn't know.

-Why isn't Fiji more of a power? They always have some of the freakiest athletes there and from playing rugby in Fiji for a couple months I was astonished at their combinations of size and speed. Do they not have the skill of some of the other teams? Do they not had the props to handle the European squads? They sure are fun to watch at times, and Jesus was it absurd trying to keep up with those gazelles on the pitch!

He dropped the ball before touching it down. That's a knock-on. However, the ref had already awarded the try before he decided to go to TMO, so it should have stood.

Discipline and money are their major issues.

Will upload Ireland-Canada photos later.

Also, RA for a sticky.

Even if he recovers it? Wasn't there a try in that highlight where an English back bobbles a pitch but then catches it and runs it in for the try? What's the difference?

I'm sure it's the right call, just curious.

Ball never touched the ground. Bobbling =/= dropping

Holy crap SA...
Spoiler

Japan 34- SA 32 full time!

Japan had 1 previous WC win total and SA was ranked #3 in the world.
Safe to say the biggest upset in WC history.

What a game. Huge SA contingent at Finns was stunned. But the reality is you want to finish #2 in that pool to avoid playing New zealand in quarterfinal.

Do we really need spoiler alerts? If I didn't want to know a score, I wouldn't click on this thread.
