I was going to go until I got a job up in Tyler. That's like a 3 hour 45 minute drive. I might miss the game entirely because we have a football game at the same time

A Thursday night game in SLC to open the season is going to be a tough environment for a team learning a new scheme. It's a lot to ask out of Harbaugh. For as good of coach as he was at Stanford, Michigan doesn't have Luck and Gerhart in the backfield. Likewise, Stanford gave up a lot of points the first year while deficient of talent.

I just think there are too many questions about michigan at this point in the year. Not to mention playing in salt lake will be tough

The game that could be ugly is UW. They have no returning full time starters on the Oline, John Ross was the only elite WR they had (Mickens is just limited) and I am hearing Browning, a true frosh, is the likely starter for that game. I wouldn't start a true frosh behind that OL at Boise State - it's could be really ugly.

I think he has two seasons. They aren't expected to win more than 3-4 games this year. If he can get them bowl eligible next year, he buys himself more time.
