What's with the detoriation of it? There's been some just awful play there the last 2 weeks.

DLs becoming too athletic and offensive line hasn't kept up? Teams failing to invest properly there?

Raiders OL is beautiful to watch, can't speak for the others but spending a good amount of money there on proven stud players is a good start.

Denver's offensive line play has improved drastically since last year.

They invested some money there over the offseason through free agency and the draft.

that's part of it I'm sure but the learning curve is probably all screwed up because of the way teams practice now. For the young players I mean..

you're only gonna get better with full speed reps. I think its also not just about learning hand placement either but also adjusting to how get a reach block on the pro level or taking correct angles on LB's.

just depends on the way a team practices and how they use the time to their advantage.. or not. Once you have enough tape to really break things down more I guess a lot of getting better goes into studying yourself there as well as opponents.

spread offense and blocking schemes in college compared to pro-style blocking schemes in the pros. college players now are not prepared when they get to the league

To be fair, they played a top 3 defense that devised the perfect game plan to stop Dallas.

Center is the most underrated position in football. Get a good C and LT/RT (depending on if the QB is right or left handed) and everything else falls into place.

2015 Falcons had an atrocious OL and 2016 Falcons had a very good OL. The difference was signing Alex Mack.
