Well when you called me "fricking stupid", the football gods took notice and smote down the Saints homefield advantage.

So when someone asks what happened to the Saints this year, blame it on yourself.

Why was it okay for Antonio Brown to be called the best wide receiver in the league after one great season?

We've seen Beckham make plays this season that no one else has. He's got all the tools, and is putting up great numbers.

Like I said, I don't think you can name five better than him right now. He's having a better season than AJ Green, who a lot of people are putting over him.

Freak wide receivers don't just phase out after one year. Defenses can't just figure them out like they maybe can win a quarterback. Beckham is going to be great for a long time.

fwiw, nobody did this after last season... People wondered if Brown could put up the same numbers consistently.

This season, Brown is shattering every Steelers WR record and his consistency and durability are the main reasons why hes considered a top, if not the best, WR in the NFL.

The statement in the OP is as ridiculous as the guy who said Evans > OBJ

Odell is a top 5 WR this season. I think it's relatively easy to argue that a top 5 WR could be the best. He's put up better numbers than ANY receiver in the league over the last 7-8 weeks.

Mike Evans isn't a top 10 receiver in the league right now. Good player, and he'll be in the league a long time.

I think Brown, Jones, and Beckham are the best, as of now. Put them in whatever order you want.

He should be Rookie of the Year but that's about as far as this discussion should go.

I didn't include Brown in the top wr list going into this season. The fact that he has shown sustained success makes me comfortable saying he's absolutely a top WR.

I'll agree that Beckham has all the tools to be an elite WR. I'll even say that based on this season alone, he's been a top WR. But I'll let him have sustained success for more than a season. If he does this again next year; which is very possible, I'll consider him with the top guys.

Once Gordon was suspended, I think quite a few people looked at Antonio Brown as that guy.

Some LSU fans would find a way to tell you Jeremy hill is the best RB in the league based off of today. Odell is the best wr in the league based off of not even a full season?

He's better than anyone the saints have

He may be the best in the league, but it will take more than 8 games to determine that

I don't think there's a better guy in the air...body control and hands are fricking sick

Their only talented NFL player wasted his career away in Oakland.

Knile Davis is good too.
