We all know that he and his family are estranged. Find it odd that his dad would speak to the paper about it. Keep that stuff in-house

TL/DR Aaron cut his family off and they're salty about it.

I almost don't want the Packers to win Sunday because this will be the story the media beats to death for two weeks

Not really that odd at all.

I've heard rumors it was a financial thing. Several members of his family hit him up for loans and one of them was mishandled and he got tired of it.

Still not a reason to cut them off I guess, but I feel like this is not really right for the public to be sticking their nose in his private family life. He's clearly a very private person and didn't ask for this attention on his family.

In fact, no one would know if it weren't for his douchey brother telling the world on The Bachelorette.

You think that is a hit piece?

One thing you never do is loan money to family. You either give them them money straight up with no strings attached, or dont give them anything.

I don't think you read the article you just posted. That wasn't anything close to being a hit piece.

Aaron Rodgers seems very guarded in general. I really don't get why his parents are entertaining this stuff unless they are just desperate to get back in his life. I know there are shitty parents out there, who mooch off of their celeb kids. This doesn't appear to be the case, but we really don't know, because no details have come out.

Hope he can burry the hatchet, life is short.

I've heard rumors his parents have an issue with Munn, which makes sense given the timing of their falling out and her leaked dirty texts. Also, his brother from the Bachelorette apparently cheated on one of Munn's close friends which contributed to the rift

His brother went on the Bachelor and talked about it. So you shouldn't be surprised.

The other Rodgers brothers were big in the Nashville scene (until Jordan recently moved) and there are rumors floating of a couple of failed business ventures financed by Aaron.

His older brother sold us polish sausages while wearing a lederhosen this past Oktoberfest in Nashville He was working some booth for charity.

Its uncanny how much they look alike in person. He was a big dude too.

Could definitely see that.

These things usually have more than one reason. Probably a culmination.

But it is pretty sad that the press is digging into their private family life. Really uncalled for in a situation like this IMO.

Or this is what his family wants you to think.

Sad that the alleged gold standard for journalism is running a lowball tabloid "news" story.

To be fair, his brother barely even mentioned him. In fact, I would say he went out of his way to not bring up Aaron.

Wait, will this get in his head this week or will it just make him pissed off?

if they didn't payback a loan why wouldn't it be right to cut them off and never talk to them?

It is up to him. But life is short and you only get one family, but he will have millions of dollars....
