How is that?

Because nobody gives a shite about UFC (or boxing really)
UFC should have sold out to fox. They keep trying to do this ppv stuff. You would only be aware of tonight's deal if you follow UFC or follow a betting app.

Advertising/promotions for UFC is terrible.
Boxing kicks their arse in that regard

Nobody in average America can name a champion of either.

All they know is it is about to be a boxing match between mcgregor and Floyd not an mma.

Sounds like boxing is still a bigger deal:
ftr: floyd decision +200 get in while you still can

UFC can't even get "athletes" to show up for a major fight.

Can you imagine if Lebron didn't play???

Oh wait.......

Oh wow I didn't know lawler and cowboy was off. I'm definitely out now. I'm really looking forward to seeing this 40 year old Russian and his crazy submissions in the prelims though

Yeah Cerrone v Lawler was the fight I was looking forward to.

Maybe 214 will work out.

I was most interested in romero whitaker. Romero is one of my favorites to watch, dude is a destroyer and probably the most exciting fighter in the ufc since rumble reitred.

Well if you know a boxers name he probably has like 9 belts from gods know what organizations. The average fan has no idea what belt is considered the true prize belt.

But when have you ever heard of a boxer in the main event pull out of the fight hours before because they didn't feel good?

I've heard boxers don't have to shed as much weight as compared to MMA fighters, but I have no idea if that's bs or not. Plus boxing has a million divisions the 2 fighters can agree to fight at. I'd also think MMA fighters have more weight in areas that boxers don't have to worry about as much like in their legs. All in all though I really have no idea how the weight cutting stuff is in boxing, but I'd imagine it's easier than MMA.

Cut the same amount of weight.

Body comp is not that much different.

OLINIK IS A BEAST. Dude is 40 years old with 51 wins 43 of those being submissions. Only person to pull off an Ezekiel choke in UFC and he was fricking mounted. Hope this dude keeps rolling
