Notre Dame is a buzzsaw looking for wood right now.

Dunno if that is a saying, but it should be.

Stanford, now 3-8, beat Notre Dame just a month ago. Stanford's only other wins this year are Colgate and Arizona State.

ND has really improved the last few weeks. Kind of crazy if they don’t drop the ball early in the season this game is a playoff determining game.

Lost to Marshall, lost to Stanford, should have lost to Cal if the refs hadn't helped them. I realize ND has improved a lot, and they look like a dangerous team right now, but they weren't in sync in the early part of the season. USC is going to smoke them.

Usc will do what they did last night, outscore their opponent. If LR gets the other side of the ball figured out this team is going to be a handful.

They've got a good shot. I love shitting on ND, but they are playing top 10 football right now. I'm not sure LSU beats them more than 5 times outta 10 on a neutral field right now.

I’ll never pass up a chance to mess with LSU fans; but that’s not true. Perkins would dominate the ND line. Pyne is improving but has a long way to go. That said ND defense would hold LSU in check.

USC has a soft defense which is why it’ll be competitive. ND should hold Williams in check.

Marcus Freeman deserves some credit. He's turned things around the 2nd half of the season.

3-7 Navy shut them out in the second half just 2 weeks ago and almost stole one

ND will have to play well for 4 quarters which isn’t something they’ve done much this year

Out of sync early in the year doesn't lead to "USC is going to smoke them" in a game being played now.
You made the points as to why ND can win then made the "USC will win" call on outdated information you provided.

Probably. And I think A&M wins, as well.

It didn’t happen during his tenure at OU; it’s not going to magically happen now. His teams will always be soft.

USC has a soft defense? Try no defense. Just like UCLA. Just like everyone in the Pac 12 except Utah.

It's basically 7 v 7 football at the schoolyard.

But SC will beat ND. Oregon, however, will be a toss up game.

I think they’ll struggle to score against ND. Question is whether or not the Irish offense is competent enough to consistently move the ball against even this Charmin D.
