You have to remember the ppl saying Cleveland won the deal are Lebron fanboys and no matter what happens its good for Lebron.

The people saying Cleveland won wont care about Cleveland the second Lebron leaves and will be out buying their new lebron super team jersey.

Why? He got Kyrie who is younger and locked into a 2 year contract for an injured player, a back-up and a pick. Don't forget they still n have the pick from trading down in the draft. Smart move by Ainge. Basically locked up production for the next decade from the of spot.

Yep, they still have the Lakers pick next year if it is 2-5. After that it is convoluted, but still should be a very high pick.

Also, he cleared out room for Tatum and Brown to now play and see what their potential is and doesn't have to face the possibility of losing Crowder and IT in free agency now.

Put me in the good trade for both teams camp. Would like it more for the Celtics if they could have held onto that pick and moved one of the other 1st rounders instead, but obviously that wouldn't have gotten it done. Not great for earthier team(at least not now), but good for both.

Cleveland just gave their best scorer to their biggest threat in the east and it's a bad deal for Boston?

Yes, when you realize they got a better scorer in return.

Kyrie sets them up to run the east when Lebron leaves.
They're only guaranteed to have Kyrie for 1 more year than IT4.

Thomas is a free agent after this year and said he wants the max.

This was a bad trade for Cleveland, not Boston. Boston got better.
If you keep Kryie, Lebron leaves after this season.

What's the point of having Kyrie for 1 more season, exactly?

You're basically arguing that 1 extra year of Kyrie with no Lebron is better than the Nets '18 pick.

1 extra year is now a decade?
