Lol

That is one of the dumbest sports takes I have ever seen.

Calling a team a regular season team is something earned due to consistent failures in the playoffs. Why the Clippers are always questioned and not trusted come playoff time

Otherwise you find yourself with a stupid take where the Spurs were a regular season team in 2012 and 2016, yet NBA Champs in 2014.

Clippers are fairly new to the scene though. Have to mention Rockets when discussing regular season teams. They have won 3 playoff series since 2000. In same time frame, Spurs have won 30 series.

As a diehard Steve Nash fan, Pop out-coaching D'antoni in those series was just consistently heartbreaking.

I remember Nash weeping tears of joy when Phoenix finally beat SA in 2010

The daily Boom trying to pimp the Rockets thread I take it?

The only thing I will credit the Rockets for is the 3-0 lead they have in post season series, but have not played a series in 23 years I believe now.

But if I am correct, someone correct me if I am not. The Spurs hold the all time record in the series by 20 games about....

Not really. Most of those years the Rockets were a lower-seeded playoff team.

They were expected to lose in th first round to the higher ranked team.

What's funny?

A regular season team is a team that is good enough to achieve a high seed in the regular season and plays below their means in the playoffs.

SA has a winning record vs. everyone in the league, actually, iirc.

The Spurs won a championship three years ago and the MVP of that Finals series is better than he was then. They destroyed Miami with fricking Lebron in that series too. I think we should hold off on calling SA a "regular season team."
