i think they can do well in FCS...I guess money talks. I saw them a few times in D-2, so I will actually miss a perennial power like that down there.

Apparently they're following Kennesaw St. KSU is the only other A-Sun school with football, so they're provisional Big South members for that sport.

It does look like they're going to have to step up their game a little bit in baseball. They were 3 games under .500 last season and barely won any games against the traditional D2 baseball powers they played.

Kennesaw State is the only other A-Sun with a football team. They play in the Big South as well.

Charleston Southern
Liberty
Kennesaw State
Gardner Webb
Presbyterian
Monmouth

North Alabama gives them the seventh team for an auto bid to the FCS Playoffs, although Charleston Southern has been pretty solid about getting one.

A-Sun is a revolving door. Troy had a few years in there after moving up before joining the Fun Belt. I think FAU was in there as well. Samford and Ga State were in there at some point recently too.

The GSC will finally be interesting again! Hopefully the Statesmen can get back on top without North AL up there making a mockery of the competition.
