Non-SEC fans, do you watch SEC rivalries?

I'm referring to games like Mississippi State vs. Ole Miss, LSU vs. Arky, etc. The games that aren't as big on a national level as let's say an Iron Bowl. I enjoy watching smaller rivalries in other conferences. Always been a big fan of Army/Navy and Michigan/MSU.

LSU aTm used to be an annual arse whipping and Leland and the Wrecking Crew had so much fun.

No. I'll catch the Iron Bowl and LSU/Bama but that's primarily because they're good teams.

I do think SEC fans overrate the conference, but I never miss an SEC game. I'm a big fan, and I love the atmosphere of all the games.

No. The only rivalry in the SEC that I watch is the Iron Bowl...and that's just been in the last 5-6 years. I cant bring myself to watch a rivalry game called the Egg Bowl...just like I don't expect anybody from SEC country tune in to watch Ohio State vs Illinois play for the Illibuck trophy. Actually now that I think about it, LSU/Alabama is bigger to me then Alabama/Auburn, mainly because it directly impacts Ohio State.

I wouldn't put those on the same level, but I understand where you're coming from.

I always liked the backyard brawl, if only because of the name. That, and western PA and West Virginia are straight trashy.

Backyard Brawl not the SEC though.

I think the only SEC rivalry I watched growing up was the WLOCP. Other than that I was watching SWC and Big 8 and Big 10, because they meant more and were more noted.

I went a little off topic like several posters in thread.

Captain Obvious says he hasn't retired.

Only SEC rivalries that i consider legit are Iron and Egg. True in state hate. Florida and Georgia is manufactured. LSU doesn't have a true rivalry. They simply hate whoever is good that decade (Ole miss, bama, etc). The others are a joke.

If it's a big game/the best at its time slot, yes. But I don't go out of my way to watch them.
