What a night. We watched at Will's Northwoods Inn and then made our way up to wrigleyville after (but not before stopping to get some drinks for the walk at the 7 Eleven).

I'll be at Game 4. Will be memorable to say the least.

I'm flying up this weekend and going to watch the game in Wrigleyville. I'm so pumped.

Great pics! We walked down there after the win and the vibe was absolutely electric.

Today I took my daughter for a walk around 2 and there were so many people at Wrigley taking pictures and buying merchandise from the various stores, it is going to be out of control this weekend.

For those concerned with getting back to downtown after the game, consider taking the brown line train at Southport instead of the red. It's about a 15 min walk from the stadium and there are a handful of great restaurants and bars on Southport Ave to kill some time after the game.

Just make sure you get the spelling down before you head up.

I went for a run and checked things out. There were people everywhere. A big crowd by the firehouse where it looked like they were loading up trucks to head down to Cleveland.

I'm still painfully hungover from celebrating last night so cut me some slack!

Hotel recommendations near the Redline? Somewhere near or north of downtown? Want to take my dad up for the weekend so he can soak up the atmosphere. Would like to be close to the redline so he doesn't have to do much walking (relatively speaking). He had his knee replaced just over a year ago.

There's a lot of hotels near the redline. Most of them though will be in River North or the loop, so you've got a bit of a ride. Just go to google maps and look around the Grand and Chicago stops. There's a Hilton Garden Inn that's basically at the Grand stop, actually across the street from my office.

I got an SRO for you if I get these lottery tickets

I did think about just getting four and selling the other two. Just a buddy and I going. I havent quite read the conditions through yet, there may be something about selling the tickets in there

Congrats though man. Glad to see it work out for you with the seats (not trying to jinx you ). You and I have been freaking out about our booking so early for this trip and hoping the Cubs pulled through.

Thanks for the info. Looking forward to taking my pops up there. I made trips up to chiCago in June and September and can't wait to get back. 4th generation Cubs fan and have always wondered if my dad would get to experience this (his dad didn't...granted he did get to see them in the series in 45...he was 22).
