This is so difficult to do because of some of the things mentioned so far.

As some have said, you could make the argument that the Bengals are second only to the Pats and the Packers (they've trailed for like one total minute this season). So it's absurd not having them on this list, but I agree with the OP, no chance I have them in my top 5 once playoffs come around because of Dalton.

Then you have a team like Pitt who would get throttled by Cincy right now but who I'd take any day of the week once Ben is full strength. They might be my overall dark horse. That D has looked pretty damn good when not playing the Pats (no one's D will look good against the Pats).

Basically the only thing people can agree on and really the only thing that will matter come the end of the season

I don't have any hate for the Cincy Bengals. They would be my 9th overall team right now, mainly because of the Andy Dalton effect. He's played well this year thus far, but he has always shown a tendency to implode.

Carson Palmer has never done shite in the playoffs, yet you have Arizona ranked 3. Arizona, who just lost to the Rams.

There's just too much talent around him for him to be making boneheaded mistakes playoff appearance after playoff appearance.

I'll never be a Dalton apologist, but he at least had an excuse last year. His best three receivers were out for the playoff game. The other three years were totally on him.

Falcons have not been more impressive than the Bengals thus far, nor the Broncos IMO (dominant defense). Cardinals I can see.

I think Atlanta has a great chance for a top 2 seed considering the schedule, but they aren't beating GB or a healthy Arizona I feel.

Thus far? Sure

I'm far more worried about Matt Ryan and Julio than Dalton and AJ at this point though

Maybe not better, but they'd be a tough out
