Rodgers is spoiled with the amount of time his line gives him.

why are defenses always so poor with 2 minutes to go? you can count on an nfl team always scoring within 2 minutes of the half in every game.

I knew that would happen. 1 minute is more than enough time for Rodgers.

I am the biggest Peyton Manning homer alive, but Rodgers absolutely deserves the MVP so far this year. While Peyton has the total TD's lead at the moment and is on pave for another 50 passing touchdowns, Rodgers has him on just about everything else by a fair margin, particularly passer rating and QBR. Rodgers is having an incredible year. Even if Peyton ends up with 10 more touchdowns as I believe he is on pace to do going in to today, Rodgers still deserves the MVP given his superiority in every other metric, including likely beating Manning on net touchdowns (touchdowns responsible for minus interceptions and fumbles lost).

He was on top of many lists through the first 8 weeks or so, really until the Patriots game.

He has been on pace for about 50 touchdowns all year and only had a couple of picks through the Pats game, but then had 6 picks over 3 games against only 8 touchdowns. That usually sets you back in the race.
