What a tangent What does all this have to do with the Kings changing their logo?

These guys need a remake desperately IMO

They've got great colors but that logo is bad.

The name "Kings" has endless possibilities of having a badass logo. I can't say I've really liked any of the ones that franchise has had before.

You weren't a NBA logo from the 90's if you didn't have some teal randomly thrown in there.

I mentioned the Gunslingers logo and how it may have looked when the Saints moved before the storm. SirWinston made a derogatory comment and he got De Santa Anna'ed up in this here thread.

What's amazin he got Spurs, Rockets, Aggies, Cougars, and Mustangs all on same team. Give that man a fricking Nobel Peace Prize.

Gunslingers and Gamblers had badass logos.

I wish the Boys would still play some in San Antonio, as far as an actual preseason game goes. The Alamodome is fine for that. I still remember going to a Vikings-Saints game there in 2000 because both owners were from SA/had ties.

It's funny how some Saints fan think SA tried to steal the team, when in fact it was Benson. I think SA residents were just happy to see some NFL ball and wanted to be hospitable.

Yeah I remember when it was news that the team was displaced, there was a concerted effort to make the Saints feel at home by showing them as much support as possible. As a measure of goodwill from SA to NO. Was never anything malicious on the city's part.

Sold out every game they played in SA, too, iirc.

I feel like KC is ready for an NBA team...there or St. Louis. They both have great arenas, SOME pro bball history to go with.

Unfortunately, I think the only team to even potentially be on a move list is the Pelicans.

Even if I bought the Kings and moved them to another city I'd want to keep their name/color scheme. They've always had some of my favorite unis in pro sports.

Unfortunately for KC, I think we could support a team, but we just don't have any ownership interest here. The Chiefs and Royals owners are both out of town guys and I don't know of anyone local who'd be willing to step up and buy a team.

When do 90's-style logos become fashionable again? Shouldn't be too much longer for that to come back around.

Hopefully never. Ever.

The era of when every team had to add teal or purple into their color scheme.

Back when teams were obsessed with covering as much of the jersey with a logo as possible.
