New ESPN "Reporters"

My God, how many people did they fire? Are they getting people out of the mail room, giving them one of Brando's or Berman's old suits and throwing them in front of a camera?
There's trimming the fat and streamlining and there's just saying, "frick it. I just don't care anymore."
I don't recognize any of these guys they've got out at both the USCs and other locations, but I've seen better reporting and screen presence from the local high schools Friday Night Football broadcast.

As for pictures, I don't know who any of these people are. One is that red headed guy who is always standing on the football field -- he's got the strong southern accent.
There's another short redheaded guy who looks like the Scott's Turf guy's runty little brother. He apparently is ESPN's Michigan beat reporter. Wasn't aware there was such a thing.
The third was a fat, bald guy who looks to be in his early twenties. He couldn't complete a sentence without gasping for air.

They have been using Marty Smith a bunch lately. He actually does a good job.
They have gone the new route a bunch though, they are not as bad as people like to claim. But, it is the cool thing to bash Disney and ESPN.
