Judging by success in the postseason and Omaha over the last decade I'd have to go with South Carolina, Virginia, UCLA, and Florida.

What happened to Stanford's baseball program? For a while they were in Omaha every year.

South Carolina is on the downturn IMO

Vandy is the new Stanford in baseball.

awesome post...
forget the team that is going to win back to back (Vandy), but you have South Carolina, who hasnt done jack squat since Holbrook took over.

Defacto full scholarships make Vandy pretty tough.

Care to explain?

With Tanner as AD and Holbrook as coach, I'd wait before crowning USC.
Virginia has definitely had a good run.
Vandy is looking like they are about to repeat, but are strangely missing from your list.
You have UF, but fail to put LSU (an obvious troll) when both have accomplished roughly the same in recent years. What is the most recent CWS UF has won?
UCLA did win the CWS a few years back, but also failed to even make it this year as the #1 overall seed.

Glad to see Vandy off your list. What have those guys done lately but everyone says they're so great

Vandy basically gets their baseball players all on full academic scholarships.

This thread just plain sucks

LSU needs to learn how to play in Omaha before they can be considered a power

That has pretty little to do with it

Which is a great thing, guys who are smart and can play! LSU has a great tool to get instate kids for nothing with TOPS, just not enough top players who qualify for the highest level of TOPS.

Louisville is an up and comer. Indiana and Illinois are both good now, too.
Duke is a school that should be really good in baseball, but for some reason is terrible.
Tulane was on the verge of being elite in 2005, then fell off the map completely.
