Hopkins was so fricking dirty. They did everything they could to whack Jones in the head and the wrist when he fell down. If you can't beat them, injure them. I guess that's their philosophy now that kids don't want to play for Petro, who sounds like he is having a seizure while being tortured every second his team is on defense. It worked for taking out Dionne. Clean play, my arse.

If Duprey and Dionne are both out for the final four, I have to feel bad for them. Two All-Americans who will be miss the last meaningful games of their lives. Especially feel bad for Dionne to lose his chance like this.

Keenan is playing well. I wonder of Zenker is ready to play second midfield.

Haus, Wolf, Matheis,
Carroll, and Jones were great today.

39-20 through the first 2 games

So true but I know what it is like to be in the moment.

Drexel wins the early faceoff and scores early.

The refs didn't really call it until the 3rd or 4th hit. The only really dirty play was whacking Wolf in the head seconds after he passed to Matheis and Matheis scored.

God, I'd love to play Drexel in the Final 4, while Maryland and ND are beating each other up. Duke always struggles with Maryland because they don't try to run and gun with us, like UVA and UNC, but they also don't try to play a game with a baseball score like Notre Dame. Very balanced side, and finally Amato will graduate and go to the pros (I am sure Baloo is saying the same thing about Wolf, Dionne, Hipps, etc )

yea they waited to make the call which I didnt understand.

Denver got 2 in a row to tie the game, hope he turns into a good one. Don't really have a favorite in any of the games always pulling the for team without a ranking just because.

Denver is running away with this. 8-3, not surprising. Tier ey is a great coach.

Nah, Duke always has another guy to rise up and take his place. I've given up on thinking Duke's offense is ever going t step back. It won't. Y'all are loaded and always will be. But... not our problem next season.

It'll hurt if a defense-first team like the Terps will go four years with Amato in net and not win the title. But, losing in the Final Four is a Terp tradition.

Serious question. Who is in your conference next year besides Ohio State and Penn State (without their great goalie)?

I know Hopkins is a lacrosse-only member.

Michigan has a team and so does Rutgers. That's six. Looking forward to a Hop-UMD conference rivalry. But I do want to keep playing UVa. Curious if that will work.

8-4 Duke is up at the half. Should be a good second half. Wolf just took over in the 2nd quarter.
