Because I was shocked to see the white guy on the floor. 
There was an article about Georgetown and bigotry that I recently read (despite all the praise heaped on JT and his social contributions to society/basketball.)

Seeing a white guy for Georgetown on the court looks really out of place. It's like seeing a black guy on a hockey team. It just doesn't look right.
