I understand this side of the argument. But I think this play was a little different. That's just my opinion tho.

@sportspickle The NBA continues to do a great job with Testicular Trauma Awareness Month.

So they're going to up his flagrant to a flagrant 2

Meaning he should have been ejected. But now he won't miss any time???

Am I interpreting this wrong?

If I'm the OKC coach, I'm putting in my worst bench player on the tip off and saying you have one minute of game time to punch or kick him in the nuts as hard as you can.

i believe that is correct.

i don't think the thunder give a frick if he plays or not, in terms of their mindset. if draymond is overaggressive and lets the crowd get to him, there's a good chance he'll play really shitty anyway.

The NBA is a business. I mean what league would punish one of its biggest stars over a tiny infraction?

My problem is I thought they had established a precedent that this exact action was a one game suspension.

Not when it's a superstar in the conference finals though.

Don't really get it...

The league changed it to a Flagrant 2, acknowledging that he should have missed time. But he wasn't ejected nor will he miss any time in the next game.

If you aren't gonna suspend him, what's the point of changing it to a Flagrant 2? Seems pointless and actually makes the NBA look bad and almost like they aren't enforcing their own rules.

Shouldn't get suspended. Should've been an F2 and ejection instead of a 1 and it would e been over with
