I think they changed the rules this year on fan voting. Only counts for half.

So this is what the new voting format gives us. Zaza finding his way into the picture.

I was just talking about how someone in the West is gonna get hosed. This won't help.

James Harden
Russell Westbrook
Steph Curry
Kevin Durant
Kawhi Leonard
Klay Thompson
Anthony Davis
LaMarcus Aldridge
Damian Lillard
Boogie Cousins
Chris Paul
Blake Griffin (although he's been injured)

I honestly think a guy like Eric Gordon deserves a spot this year, but he has no chance because of all of the big name guards.

How many spots are available for guards and forwards? Because he's getting votes:

Votes only matter for starting lineups I believe. So unless you are a top 2 or 3 vote getter (for the 5 starting positions) then the only way you can get in is by coaches selection.

Unless they've changed that recently.

He was never not going to make the team. He's 2nd in the league in PPG, top 5 in PER, top 10 in REB and 1st in Blocks.

Just a matter of if he starts or not.

It'll be a shame if he doesn't. Worst part about counting the SF position as a "frontcourt" position for the voting purposes is that Durant automatically takes up one of the spots and Kawhi the other. SF should be one and they should have 2 for front court.

Starters for the west should be:

Westbrook
Harden
Leonard
Davis
Gasol

It won't even get close to that.

What I'm getting at if you did not read the post, was that KD and any PF or C should not be in the same voting pool.

Should be:

Guards
SF
Frontcourt

I mean we pretty much all agree that Anthony Davis is going to end up getting that spot, but yeah, fan voting is stupid

I wish you weren't such a douchebag and trying to troll people all the time.

There's absolutely no argument against AD being an AllStar starter. None.
