Also, I haven't the foggiest how this all goes down for us. All I know is that fricking shorthorn of ours can hang that #12 back up in the rafters where he found it. With Bruce's name on it.

I appreciate Pop/RC because they're doing things that small market teams have to for them to succeed.

Big stars aren't lining up to go to San Antonio while Dallas/Houston have bigger opportunities outside of basketball.

But frick, yal need to die already

Pretty much any move involving George and/or Aldridge (if they go three way with SA) is going to require sending Crabbe or Turner to Indy. I imagine IND is going to want Crabbe and then Murray from SA and some draft picks. I guess Danny Green to Indy as well. I mean I'm just trying to find a rough skeleton of what this deal would look like. POR and SA don't have cap flex or many young assets to play with.

Y'all remember when they locked DeAndre in a Texas mansion, and Broussard was in the wrong city looking for him? Those were good times

PG, Monta Ellis to SAS
Aldridge, Green to POR
Evan Turner, Crabbe to IND

Works in the trade machine, get it done.

I'm over the NBA helping the Spurs out and letting them polish up various trinkets to flip for profit. Goddamnit. If you're trading with the Spurs, at the very best you're breaking even. At worst, you just got trade raped. Some a-hole team is going to come in here and give SAS exactly what they want for one year of LMA and SAS is gonna profit their way to the bank.

@Chris_Broussard

Real reason Jimmy Butler doesn't want to be traded, sources say: he would no longer be eligible for super-max (designated-player exception)

The answer to this question will be no, but is there any package the Cetics can put together for A.Davis?

No.

But if this season is a failure and Boogie leaves, then the Celtics should approach with pretty much every pick they possess for the next few years.
