We are talking about a mike trout trade here. The cost that it would take to acquire AD would be so much that it would leave your team in a worse position

I'm predicting that Zach Collins is taken #4 tonight. Everyone is trying to trade up to draft him and is sounds like an auction to sign him.

What about something like this for AD?

This year's #3, next year's Brooklyn pick (most likely another top 3), next year's Celtics 1st rounder, the rights to the LAL pick next year or Sacremento's pick the year after (again most likely to be a top 3). Then package in Brown and Smart. That is three top 5 picks and Brown.

Y'all don't want AD anymore? Still won't be enough btw. He's basically untouchable

The Cavs and Spurs have been in trade talks involving Danny Green, sources say. Spurs' asking price has been high, though.

Him going#4 would be a major upset pick haha. Just don't see that happening.

Nope. I'm only trading AD for about three players in the league.

Kawhi
Lebron
KD

I agree that AD is pretty much untouchable, but if any team could pry him away it would be Boston. They basically have three top 5 picks coming in the next two or three drafts, plus their own first rounders and have other assets in Crowder, Brown, Olynk, Bradley and Smart. If they offered all of that, it could maybe happen.

I know I'm in the minority, but I'd probably consider that if I was NO. They're not going anywhere with him, let's face the music. That package is literally building your team with 4 top 5 picks and you've still got Boogie. They'd be in a better situation after taking that package than they are now with AD.

What I was thinking, but in the NBA today you need top 10 players to really compete and really top 5 players. AD is the only one in that group that would probably still be a probable top 5 player after the dust settled from that trade.

Just goes to show you how many assets Boston has right now.

AD, when healthy, is a generational talent. You can't trade guys like him for anything until his contract is almost up and you know he's leaving, like PG.

You don't trade players of that caliber until you pretty much have to. Ever.

And even then, when they are that young, you don't. You can realistically retool your team once or twice while he will still be able to keep his level of play
