Brook Lopez addition could (nearly) seal OKC making playoffs, solidifying NOP pick as a lotto pick. And with 2 hrs, 20 min to spare...

So now that they have McGee, which big-man does Philly unload? And who's on the other end of that trade? I've been using the trade-machine in english class for the last hour.

The sixers are 13 mil under the floor for salary this season, this deal brings them much closer to the floor. I don't think they picked him up because they'll use him long term. He was just brought in for them to receive another 1st rd pick, and to bring them closer to the salary floor.

Nets think Reggie Jackson could be a cornerstone?

If he learns to shoot and play defense, I could see it.

Jackson for Lopez is trade rape for OKC.

Frankly, I'm still not sold on Noel. ETA: Not that McGee is better.

I don't think they get rid of him, I think they just let him expire.

I mean he is basically averaging a double double per 36 minutes as a rookie along with 2 blocks and 2 steals.

I still think there could be room for the Thunder AND Pelicans.

Not gonna happen. They aren't THAT bad without Griffin for the Pels to make up the ground. Up 7.5 with 27-28 games to go. They could go .500 and the Pels would have to go 21-6.

This can't be serious can it?

Two first round picks and a couple role players? holy shite

Does Miami think it is trading for LeBron?

If I was Miami, I'd be trying to get Jackson more than Dragic.

I'd tell them that they can keep Birdman, but otherwise I'd take it.

Getting a young point guard and signing him to a long term deal ... Miami can build the rest through free agency
