Hawks have been on fire lately. Horford is actually rebounding and on the whole, the team is playing great on D.

The addition of Humphries along with Tim Hardaway getting comfortable has really made them a pretty well rounded team. Still have some flaws (rebounding, specifically), but the way they play defense and have rotational depth now makes me encouraged that they can make a playoff run.

Eastern playoffs will be a very tough outing for whoever makes it out. The only team in the eastern playoffs that I don't like is Detroit really, and I hope Wasington bumps them out.

The Hawks are really peaking at the right time.

These 4 teams are very evenly matched, each with their own set of flaws. First round of the EC playoffs should be great.

Adam Silver is praying that the Rockets grab the 6 seed. 7 or 8 seed, and we can all say goodbye to the dream matchup of a Warriors-Spurs conference finals.

Yep - the East has some really solid teams. 1-6 are all very good, and then you have Indy in 7. And, if the Wizards can keep playing well, they are terrifying as an 8.

Detroit is a solid team as well.

The only team in that mix that sucks is the Bulls.

They were fantastic the other night against the Pistons...even SVGOD tipped his fedora and moved on.

Okay, Detroit isn't bad but Washington has had some really good stretches that when they put it all together they will be tougher as an 8 seed than Detroit. If the sloppy Washington team shows up then they might win 1 game or get swept. I think Detroit gets swept or wins 1 game either way. Just my opinion.

Yep. Because Dwight Howard always plays clutch in the playoffs.

Yea he does. It's where the name 'playoff Dwight' comes from. It can be argued that no player in the league raises his level of play as much as D12. Personally i can't wait.

Except Lebron James and his historic playoff numbers. I truly respect your fandom boom.

well last time playoff Dwight met playoff Lebron it resulted in Lebron ultimately leaving CLE Bc he felt he couldn't get past the dwights of the NBA in CLE.

Just one more reason why I can't wait for the Cubs' season to start.
