I'm interested in knowing whether Boom thinks the Rockets compete with GS with Paul/Harden or not

Don't think so. Unless they get the kind of injury luck that CLE got V GSW last year. IN that case absolutely they would beat them.

CC are probably the second best team in the west with or without Paul.

This honestly doesn't make any sense. Harden would go back to SG and no longer be the primary ball handler. I don't really understand this signing considering I think the team would just be better off with Harden playing PG. Unless "James" doesn't want the burden and responsibilities that comes with being a PG and just wants to be a spot up shooter

James has given up trying for MVP. He wants to focus on defense and DPotY.

Let's leave that to coach of the year dantoni, James, and Chris to figure out. Love the elementary school takes, btw. this is almost as bad arse as the golden state will have no bench takes i read when Kevin signed with them.

Also, for this to work, they would have to dump major salaries like Anderson, Gordon and possibly Lou Will (though he's only due 7 mill). You really want to deplete your bench for an over 30 year old player? I'd try to get more pieces around Harden if I'm Morey

We can also see Chris's people putting this out there so he can get himself a no-trade clause from LAC. Interesting to see how it plays out.

If James gets Chris on board, will he reach out to Kevin too?

Kevin's not going anywhere. He has found his home his happy place.

I need for you to explain to me and the rest of the "Casual NBA fans" how in the world you dumping Anderson and Gordon's contract? Nobody is taking 19 and 12 mill salary for those guys at this point

You aren't familiar with morey I take it. The deals to free up the space are already in place. They have been in place. All he needs is the word from Chris. that's how he operates. He always has the flexibility to add damn near anybody. That's why he's one of the best.

Gordon is not on a bad deal at all.

Anderson you can attach a first rder to him and send him to a rebuilding squad who has tons of space and they get an extra pick and by the time they getting good ryno is coming off the books.

You can also pair him w pat and you get both for 26 mil/ year. Not a bad deal.

Do you think ESPN would be reporting they are serious suitors for Paul if they couldn't even create the space to sign him. I know your pels GM is a plug but this is morey he is elite.

yup, considering the 3pt shooters around the league get paid 10mil+

this is the issue, you need a suitor. Most GMs not named Dell Demps are smart enough to know Morey would be desperate to move a player (in this case Ryno). Bev and a late 1st might not be enough.
