It's always good when you have a solid CBA, a tv deal that is 3x the previous one, and new arenas under construction.

I don't like it. Just diluting the product even more.

They could build an arena in that open space off of Millerville that Buc-cee's left.

Seattle/Vegas/another Chicago team would be great but the NBA does not need more markets that aren't free agent destinations. Seattle and Vegas would be ideal.

There are enough teams in the league that nobody cares about.

another Chicago team

Hell no. I'd give Nashville, Birmingham, or Shreveport a team before that.

The only league not rumored to be expanding is the NFL.

Why would any NBA fan want a further diluted product with even more Shitty teams?

Also that salary cap is kind of a bubble... ESPN massively overspent and when the deal is up espn will not have that kind of scratch to throw around they are losing subscribers by the millions

I think the NHL kinda opened the floodgates for Las Vegas. It's like the other leagues were waiting to say it's OK to go in therebut not have to be the first. Glamour market with international appeal.

The NBA and Vegas would be perfect. I wish they would just move the Kings there though instead of expanding

There's no reason to wish. Sacramento opens a brand-new arena in two weeks.

Absolutely no reason for the NBA to expand. This is the league with super teams, coupled with teams that tank for multiple seasons. The spectrum doesn't seem to be that wide in any sport. The playoffs are more predictable in the NBA than any other sport as well. Why add a team so it can fester in the bottom for several years?

shite... If Chicago got another basketball team, it might be affordable to go to their games. Preseason games are 50 and the United Center is not in a good part of town

No one goes to the games in at least 30% of the markets now, only a hand full of competitive teams, 1 maybe 2 impact players in a draft.

Yeah seems like a great idea.

Vegas would be sweet though

No one goes? Those tickets are all sold to season ticket holders and corporate partners. Whether anyone sits in the seats or not they are paid for
