Once he got out of warm up he sounds great.

Squire and Ned are great.

I wished Bob Jenkins would have gotten some play tonight though.

David Hobbs, Larry Nuber, Benny (RIP) Parsons, the great Chris Eckonimacki, and the barely decipherable Jackie Stewart!

Yeah, but he's spent his share of time calling stock cars, too.

This is pretty cool

Great job by NASCAR and NBC. Hopefully Fox steps up their game for the start of next season.

I know but I thought I heard him complaining about something today.

I'm was not a huge Parsons fan, although he is a lot better than most.

I always thought Jenkins and the original ESPN team do not get any love although they were great and knowledgable. They presented it in a way a newbie or seasoned vet could enjoy the race.

If Fox wants to get better first them have to dump the 2 Waltrip clowns.

Squire tells you a story

I bet he'd do a great job doing foot or baseball

He's like Vin Scully

Jenkins never got his due. He was an outstanding announcer, and a cancer survivor. He and Larry Nuber did great work on ESPN's early coverage of NASCAR and USAC racing.

Nuber was very good until he suffered a cerebral event (he refused to call it a stroke), and his sheer love for the sport shone through.

Really good comparison.

Squier owned a small track in Vermont for decades, so he's totally rooted in the sport.

I never enjoyed Jackie

He was so nasally and hard for me to understand at times.

Economackie I enjoyed he was straight forward and did it when it was dangerous

He was some smooth on the wheel.

Enjoying Ken Squire...

Wouldn't be bad to see Gordon get one more.

Jackie was all about smooth. He said one should drive a race car as if there were a case of fine crystal in the back seat, and another case of eggs in the trunk (boot).

Exactly what I tell my daughter about driving...

Pretend like you have a milkshake sitting on the seat next to you...
