Really now? Under the old points system Gordon would have 6 championships and Jimmie would have 2. That is striaght up the most points per year, no resetting. Obviously, gordon is the better driver. Jimmie needs do overs to win championships.

I don't think it's this as much as it's other drivers acting like JJ has some type of forcefield around his car. They don't challenge him or bump him ever. They just let him drive by like it's his right to be in the front just because he's the defending champ.

Yeah and under that stupid arse logic oklahoma would have 2 more national championships in football along with the pats/colts another super bowl. You have to have some sort of playoff. If the roles were switched you would love the new points system. Quit being a little bitch and just hope gordon decides to show up for the chase
