Bristol used to be one of the hardest tickets in sports

Yeah I got tickets directly from the ticket office 2 weeks before the race last year. Had an awesome time. Definitely not as hard as it use to be

I've been to the brickyard. Once the novelty wears off, it's a lame race. All single file racing. The track jus doesn't lend itself to what makes NASCAR exciting.

At least in Indy car you have the fastest cars yu can find racing there.

For the brickyard you have guys racing bricks on wheels comparatively.

I went to Bristol from ~2002-2011, it was never as hard to get tickets as it was made out to be

You might not could get them from the ticket office but you could buy from scalpers (sp?) all around and near the track pretty easily. Might have to pay a little more than face value but you could get them

I feel like Sunny D would've been an excellent sponsor for Ricky Bobby

Wow...

Never thought I'd see the day.

I remember there used to be like a 4 YEAR waiting list for 'Dega tix.

Wtf is this caution for? A car is running slow????

I swear, NASCAR makes it very hard to watch sometimes

Would you tape up nose if you have caution at say 10 laps? Or too big of track to do it?

He was shaking it back and forth on the way to pit road meaning he ran out of fuel

They just threw a caution for a car running out of fuel that was gonna make it back to pit road completely out of the way of the pack

That's bullshite and we all know why they did it

Indy's too big, and those RPMs get too high on the front/back stretches to risk that.

20 miles, track temp 110, probably not. If it was 5-7 laps, maybe roll the dice if there's nothing to lose.

Probably too big a track to do it but it's an interesting idea.

They would probably have to practice with that set up as I'm sure it would effect other parts of the car as well and it wouldn't just be more downforce like in a vacuum. That and losing track position to add it might make it too much of a risk

I thought Stewart got his lap back after the speeding on the fake caution?

There will be a debris caution soon.

Nailed it
