2004 USC would give them a tough game

As loaded as they were with NFL talent Boston College gave them a close game.

Florida was the second-best team that year. They had the best shot that year.

I think that game illustrated how well the option works when you have NFL caliber linebackers and lineman all over your front 7.

I would go with 1995 Nebraska because they have a substantial advantage in the two most important areas for a football team: Head Coach and QB.

1995 Nebraska because they weren't called for a single holding penalty all year because the refs cheated.

And as loaded as they were (and I'd likely go with "nobody"), it's also crazy to act like all those guys were NFL-ready studs that year. A lot of them were young and too raw to contribute. And as deep as the RBs were, only one of them could get the football at a time. They'd wear you down in the 4th quarter, though.

bullshite. 1905 Chicago had Walter Eckersall. His alcoholic arse would've trucked the 2001 Miami D.

Frank Beamer, the only coach to face USC and AU in 04, said AU was better than USC.

2004 USC could wear anyone out with the 1-2 punch of Bush and White

As great as the Bush highlights were if you actually watched that team a lot of times they would feed the ball to White in crunch time and they would just bury teams behind that big O line.

AU played a tougher schedule and less close games than 04 USC.
