Also that Cards HQ shop is opening in Atlanta next week. Looks like it might be the biggest or one of the biggest card shops in the country(or world?)

Did a terrible job editing this adding them all to one photo, but I did what I can This is the full LSU mojo auto set from 2020 Panini Prizm Draft Picks

Mojo is /49 in this set (2021 is /25, I'm just missing Chase)

Edit: I actually personally bought them all raw and graded them myself except for the burrow

I paid like $12 for this lot and I'm so happy with it (there's a lot more not pictured). I would have been ecstatic pulling some of these 10+ years ago.

Topps Chrome is the GOAT set, cant wait for fanatics to bring it back for NBA and NFL

Yep, that'll be a good day when they do. Hopefully fanatics will do a good job with it, I'm skeptical.

The GOAT sets for me are the 96/97 Skybox EX-2000 and 97/98 EX-2001. The two best looking base sets of all time and some all time great insert sets (Essential Credentials, Dunk'n Go Nuts, Jambalaya, etc).

They'll never make base sets that look that good ever agin, or as iconic of inserts.

I collect autographed cards, but hate the foil/reflective shite that is popular now.

I have cards from ’78-‘79 in MLB, NFL, and NBA, but decided to narrow my collection to Ted Williams playing days ‘39-‘60

I have all but 3 cards ever made by any company in that time span. Condition is varied, but none of them are obviously defaced or damaged. They probably average VG, nothing NM

I do possess the rarest one, ‘54 Wilson Weiners. Because they came on a pack of frozen goods, they were often too damaged after thawing

I never have uploaded a pic on TD, but if I learn how to, I’ll be sure to put that one in here

Nice. Had never heard of the 54 Wilson card, had to look it up.

Have the 39 Play Ball? That's a big boy card right there.

I'm doing something similar with Jackie Robinson but probably not going to worry about the offshoot manufacturers for now. Tried to work out a deal on a 1950 Bowman at this past show but couldn't get the deal done. Wish I could luck into finding some raw instead of graded.

Same.

Nothing beats the vintage topps sets imo. Look at the star power in this set.( my favorite-1956 Topps)

Seriously can’t stand that douche. He pumps out the most awful advice to folks that don’t have the money to stand on like he does.

I love watching him fail. I honestly don’t think he even watches actual sports games.

He dumped like 60k into two, Desmond Ridder 1/1’s. Which was hilarious

No idea who y'all are talking about, but that's wild. If I had frick it money, I would probably spend stupid amounts on former LSU players

I stopped by today bc it is less than a mile from where I was. Though my opinion on Geoff remains unchanged the store is an absolute marvel and the prices are no higher than those online. And a lot of the singles on display are actually below Ebay cost.
Kudos to that team, though I still wouldn't listen to a word of advice Geoff or his cohorts say when it comes to 'investing'.

This thread is cool, I collected as a kid in the 90s but never anything cool, I thought I'd one day retire on the profits of my Mark McGwire rookie card. I still have it all but never sorted through any of it. About the coolest thing I had back then was an Upper Deck Michael Jordan Career box set. Like a dumb kid I tossed the box out long ago but still have all the card, if I recall I traded one out of the set for an Emmitt Smith autographed card that turned out to be a fake.

Worked a show in Murray KY this weekend and the first slide is what I bought during the day and the second is from a trade I made. Was definitely a sell day.

Will be at the big show in Nashville in March. Will be over 600 tables. Always a great time at these shows.
