Either good or bad. I guess i give a slight nod to the Rams even though Colts were without Luck.

Hunt from the Chiefs or the Patriots coming out insanely flat.

Bad: Andy Dalton. I knew he wasn't good, but didn't think he was 0.7 QBR bad

Good: Chiefs great win on the road and Jags "where did that come from" drubbing of the Texans

For me the biggest surprises were Kareem Hunt for the Chiefs, the Jags D and the running game actually working. And even tho they lost, imo Cleveland looks a lot better, and this Browns team has a new feel to it compared to past Browns. The two rookies look a lot better than I originally thought in Deshone Kizer and Jabrill Peppers.

We knew the chiefs were a decent team from last year but damn they look a lot more dynamic now.

People have been calling the jags sleepers for a while now and maybe they finally woke up and will make some noise in a pretty mediocre division.

The bears 4th round pick was pretty impressive. Cohen a RB from a small school. He made an impact.

Def. The Jags as mentioned above. Their D has had potential for years but yesterday they lived up to it.

Low scoring games were a big surprise. All the rules favor offense and there were many teams that didn't score a TD. Several 10-7 type games.

The Rams for me. Goff looks like a new man, Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods and Sammy Watkins are decent targets for him, and the Defense is elite.

I know Luck was not with the Colts, but the game was over at halftime.

look for the rules to be changed in favor of the offense yet again next off season

The Texans. Cannot believe they are as bad as they looked. I just have to think that this was Harvey fatigue. Savage looked like a man possessed in the 3rd preseason game. Then pulled for a rook on Sunday.

Packers D played a really solid game, for the full 4 quarters. Did not see that coming.

I'm impressed the Eagles defense didn't immediately drop off a cliff after losing Ronald Darby.

May be in the minority but I love a decent lower scoring game. Not like 6-3 but 14-10, 17-14, etc. Feel like the game is more exciting as opposed to track meets where one team simply fails to score.

Yeah, I was waiting for them to implode too. I'm remaining cautiously optimistic about them until they prove they can sustain that play

Why are you laughing? That was the least emotional team I've ever seen after raising a championship banner, and it's been an incredibly long time since the Pat's just fell apart like that at the end, honestly it was the last time the Chiefs waxed that arse.
