Most painful loss in sports history?

If you're a falcon fan, is this considered the absolute most gut wrenching loss in the history of sports? On the biggest stage. About to finally win your franchise's first super bowl against the "best franchise" and "best qb" of all time. Up by 25 in the third..........Only to lose in the first overtime game in super bowl history. Watching tom Brady and bill raise that trophy after all the cheating accusations and deflategate etc etc

21-0 sucked but we had won a championship just 5 years prior to that arse whooping. Also, if you really thought saban would let lsu beat them twice in the same year, child please. I think most lsu fans saw a loss coming.

I just was like WTF while on the bench. We had that game and knew we were going to the finals, that shot knocked us out the NCAA Tournament and sent us to NIT to play NC State.
It made it worse, as they were in scramble mode as they were turning the ball over.

Game 6 in the '86 series was pretty gut wrenching, they had put Congratulations Red Sox World Series champs on the scoreboard

No way, I completely let myself get blinded to how shitty Jefferson played in the SEC title game. I know for a fact I wasn't the only one. I knew I rather LSU play okie state but I was still cocky.
I was at 21-0, that was the biggest WTF game I have ever been at. That 2011 was so insanely dominate until that game.
I know some LSU/Falcons fans, when the dust clears I will ask what is worse. The only way 21-0 is worse is because they are bigger LSU fans. Last night was the worst way to go down

yeah I loathe Falcon fans but man that was a dick punch.
1/9/12 was awful but had basically the entire game to come to terms with that failure.
95% probability and just needed 1 score of any kind in the end to just hold on.....and bagel. I thought after the Julio catch it was just Atlanta's night and the game was over.
